The dogs from the best quality group (EXCELLENT) take part in a competitive judging where the best dogs are placed as 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th winner and receive a red, blue, yellow or green ribbon respectively. If there are less than 4 dogs in the best quality group, the dogs from the second best quality group (VERY GOOD) are included in the competitive judging. The dog, which in each official class obtains the qualification EXCELLENT 1st, proceeds to the next competition.
BOB (Best of breed) The CACIB-winning dog and bitch, as well as the winners of the junior and veteran classes, pro-vided that they have been graded EXCELLENT 1st take part in the competitive judging. The judge will select the best dog, which is then awarded BOB (Best of breed). Subsequently the judge selects the best dog of the opposite sex, which is then awarded Best of opposite sex.
BIG (Best in group) The BOB-winning dogs are entitled to compete for BIG, which takes place in the MAIN RING the same day. The four best dogs are placed 1st to 4th.
BIS (Best in Show) The BIG-winning dogs compete for Best in show (BIS), which takes place in the MAIN RING on the last day of the show. The four best dogs are placed 1st to 4th.
Best puppy of the day The best puppy of each breed compete for Best puppy of the day in the MAIN RING. The four best puppies are placed 1st to 4th.
Best progeny group of the day The best progeny group in each breed compete for Best progeny group of the day in the MAIN RING. The four best progenies are placed 1st to 4th.
Best breeder’s group of the day The best breeder’s group in each breed compete for the Best breeder’s group of the day in the MAIN RING. The four best breeder’s groups are placed 1st to 4th.
Best veteran of the day The best veteran of each breed compete for Best veteran of the day in the MAIN RING. The four best dogs are placed 1st to 4th.
