Junior handling
The Danish Kennel Club welcomes you to the World Winner Junior Handling competition 2010.

The junior handling competitions connected to the World Dog Show take place on 24-27 June 2010 in the MCH Messecenter Herning, Vardevej 1, DK-7400 Herning.
The competitions will be held in Hall A2 and start all days at 09.30 like all the other judgments. The doors for the fair centre will open at 07.00.

The judging of the junior handling competition will take place as follows:

All the young participants will be judged according to a schedule where the judge gives points from 1-5 in different disciplines. All participants will receive a copy of schedule form when they have been judged in the ring.

Each day 3 semi-finalists will be selected (they must not be placed), and these 3 junior handlers will proceed to the semi-final, which is held on Sunday.

The semi-final, which takes place on Sunday immediately after the ”normal” competition has ended in the same ring, consequently has 12 semi-finalists. Of these 12 semi-finalists, 5 must proceed to the final in the Main Ring, where they compete with the pre-qualified handlers (the national representatives from the different countries). Here the junior handling world champions are placed 1-3.

The pre-qualified handlers enter the final directly. Their pre-judging will take place on Sunday at about 13.00-13.30.
